If you shoot 69 or 99, you'll find friends on The TOUR. Play New England's best public, private, and premium courses with reserved tee times. We welcome men and women golfers of scratch or bogey level who enjoy playing a wide variety of courses in a low-key, fun, competitive atmosphere. If you can usually score below 100 or better, know the etiquette of the game, and are looking for compatible playing partners, give us a call.

We offer 50+ events are eveny distributed between weekdays and weekends and we visit more than 50 different courses annually. In addition to tournaments at premier public courses, we are scheduled to play 25 private/semi-private courses. Your chance to play several member-only venues. Our annual club championship is a two-day event.

Tournament Golf for Amateur Golfers |
Turn a normal round of golf into an event. We'll match you up in foursomes with other players of the same ability in Gross and Net divisions. We offer different playing formats including Stroke, Stableford, Fourball, Team, and Match Play. (Don't worry—we'll tell you how they work.)

• Prizes - At every event, at least one out of every four players goes home with a prize (in the form of Tour, course, or sponsor certificates). As a bonus, event winners are awarded TOUR Champion shirts plus certificates. At several sponsored events, we offer special prizes.

• Contests - Closest-to-Pin on ALL par 3s and optional gross and net skins pool at every event.
|
• Ready Golf - Enforced Pace of Play Policy eliminates long rounds.
|
• Season-long Events - Match Play Championship, Grand Prix (Player of the Year points earned for high finishes). Near the end of the season, the top 40 players on the Grand Prix standings are treated to a FREE event at a top notch course.

• Championships - Club (2 Day Stroke Play), Match Play, Fourball, and Year-End Tournament of Champions. Also Ryder Cup style team events versus other clubs.

• National Championship - In November in Orlando, we square off against similar tours from around the United States in team and flighted individual championships.

A good number of our Members over the years have gone from double-bogey to bogey-golfers, and from double-digit to single-digit handicaps. Playing in tournaments (along with regular practice) tends to sharpen almost everyone's game, and the Most Improved Player award is among the year's most coveted prizes.

TheTour is owned and run by six partners with diverse backgrounds and handicaps.
Gerry Dickhaut, is the owner of Champions Sporting Goods in Belmont. He's a single digit handicap and handles the Schedule and Course Relations.
Paul Griffith is a Financial Services Operations Executive and a single-digit handicap. Paul handles Member Services and Event Setup.
Mike Regan is a software engineer who carries a single-digit handicap. Mike is responsible for all TOUR technology (including website) as well as general TOUR Management.
Eric Siegel is a financial executive and business consultant with a handicap in the low-teens. Eric handles Member Services and Event Setup.
Mark Stinehour is a CPA and a low-teen handicap. Mark handles The Tour finances and Business Development.

A Club of Members |
Although TheTour is a business, it is run as a club, where all the Members have significant input in operations, rules, and competition-based issues. More than 35 Members serve as committee members or on-course volunteers during the course of the season.
